Keep your model simple
Keep your model simple in the early stages - don't rush into too much detail (even if it is fun). There are many ways to do this. Some are:

- Use patterns applied to surfaces to resemble materials or elements (eg. panelled wall).
- Allocate areas to be filled with elements (such as seating, or carparking) rather than modelling them all earlier than may be necessary.
- Don't complicate the model visually with materials and textures if you don't have to. Keep the emphasis and discussions with the client based around light, form, space, shadow etc.
